Also known as “Il Soldato”, Giuseppe Guadagnini was one of the sons of Gian Battista Guadagnini. He trained and looked after his father, but probably at the age of 25 he worked independently. He has lived in various cities, in particular Pavia, Como and Milan. His work, although influenced by the work of his famous father Gian Battista Gudagnini, is characterized by a strong personality and his violins are easily recognizable.
This violin is a characteristic work of the last period of Giuseppe Guadagnini. It has the original “Pavia 1803” label.
